Perform treatment and provide exercise instruction and patient education to improve well-being under the plan of care;
Instruct and aid patients in active and passive exercises, gait, functional activities, ADLs, transfers, safety, and prosthetic training;
Observe, record, and report patient responses and changes to supervising PT/nurse/physician;
Coordinate care with other health care team members as appropriate;
Educate patient, family, caregiver, and health-care team on therapy within the scope of the physical therapy assistant
