POSITION OVERVIEW:
Provide legal counsel, review and direction to the Company to ensure effective operation in compliance with federal, state and local laws.

- Juris Doctorate Degree from an American Bar Association (ABA) accredited law school and a license to practice law in respective state plus a minimum of twelve (12) years' experience as an attorney with at least one (1) year of Fed Ex experience and three (3) years' of regulatory legal experience
- Expertise in environmental, health & safety (EHS) and/or supply chain, cross border, and international matters
- Strong research, negotiation and human relations skills
- Experience and ability to use Microsoft Office Software, including but not limited to Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Sound judgement and ability to quickly and effectively analyze situations and information
- Ability to work independently and as a team member
- Fast-paced, deadline oriented
- Some travel required
This position will be domiciled at a Fed Ex Freight location in Harrison, AR or Memphis, TN. You will be required to work at a Fed Ex Freight location several times per week.
