Position: Welder - Manufacturing (Veteran Program) in Harrison

Job Description

ERS Elite is hiring Welders to support high-volume manufacturing operations for a leading transportation equipment manufacturer. This role is responsible for performing MIG welding and fabrication on structural steel and aluminum components used in trailer production.

This is a direct-hire opportunity with long-term career growth in a modern manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform MIG welding (GMAW) on steel and/or aluminum components.
  • Weld structural assemblies including frames, crossmembers, and panels.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, weld symbols, and work instructions.
  • Set up and operate welding equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Inspect welds for quality, penetration, and compliance with specifications.
  • Use hand tools, grinders, and fabrication equipment to prepare materials.
  • Maintain production pace while meeting quality standards.
  • Follow all safety protocols and PPE requirements.

Requirements Experience
  • 1+ years of welding experience in manufacturing, construction, or industrial environments
    .
  • Experience with MIG welding (GMAW) required; aluminum welding a plus.
  • Ability to pass a hands-on weld test (fillet and/or groove welds).
  • Familiarity with production environments and quality standards.
