Population Health Nurse

The Clinic Population Health Nurse serves the Baxter Health Primary Care Clinics; assisting the Population Health team to successfully implement, maintain and report all activities related to Population Health.

Job Requirements:

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Associate degree in Nursing required.
• BSN preferred.
• Two (2) years of clinic experience utilizing electronic medical records software preferred.
• Current Arkansas or Compact State RN or license in good standing.

Other:

• Demonstrated record of effective working relationships with clinic staff and providers.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with advanced computer skills to include Microsoft Word and Excel.

Safety Sensitive Designation:
This position is deemed safety sensitive in accordance with Arkansas Act 593 governing Medical Marijuana.

Physical Demands:

• Ability to communicate effectively, orally and in writing, to solve problems and make decisions.
• Ability to stand and walk, bend, squat and twist up to or exceeding 8-10 hours during shift(s).
• Occasionally requires lifting of 50 pounds or more of equipment with proper body mechanics.
• Able to push in excess of 150 pound wheelchair with patient and occasionally lifts patients with assist 125 pounds or more with proper body mechanics.
• Spends eight hours or more in front of computer, monitor or similar screen utilizing keyboard and/or mouse.
• Must be able to respond quickly in emergency situations of CPR and obtaining equipment.
• Must be able to handle highly stressful situations with efficiency and composure.

Work Environment:
Office setting within a clinic.
