Registered Nurse – Labor and Delivery

Job Summary:

Seeking a skilled Registered Nurse for Labor and Delivery. The nurse will provide comprehensive maternal and neonatal care to ensure the safety and comfort of patients during childbirth.

Responsibilities:

• Administer medications and monitor vital signs of laboring patients.
• Assist with fetal assessments and monitor fetal heart rates.
• Support patients through labor, delivery, and postpartum processes.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient care and progress.
• Collaborate with healthcare team to develop and implement care plans.
• Educate patients and families on postpartum care and newborn care.

Qualifications:

• Valid state nursing license required prior to start date.
• Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience in Labor and Delivery.
• Current BLS, NRP, ACLS, and PALS certifications.
• Strong understanding of obstetric and neonatal procedures.
• Excellent assessment and communication skills.
• Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights and weekends.
