Red Bull New York Internship

Red Bull New York ("RBNY") are one of 30 teams in Major League Soccer (MLS) and one of the league's ten original charter clubs. Founded in 1996, RBNY has competed in MLS since its inception. RBNY's First Team plays its home matches at Sports Illustrated Stadium in Harrison, New Jersey and its Second Team plays its home matches at Montclair State University.

RBNY are owned by the Austrian beverage company Red Bull GmbH, after which the team is named.

RBNY's First Team is a three-time MLS Supporters' Shield winner and a two-time Conference Champion, while the Second Team is the 2025 MLS NEXT Pro Champion. RBNY also operates one of the nation's premier youth soccer development programs, spanning local partnerships across New York and New Jersey. RBNY's Academy is ranked among the top development organizations in the country.

Red Bull New York are looking for motivated college students who will support the Marketing Partnerships team during the semester (internship to begin in late May and run through mid-August). The internship will provide college credit, and is a great learning opportunity for those interested in pursuing a career in the sports industry. Interns will gain knowledge and insight into a revenue-generating department within the sports industry, and will learn how the Sponsorship Sales team works with prospective new brands to create custom partnerships, as well as the Sponsorship Activation team on managing current partnership accounts.

Office hours during the week are flexible based on school/class schedule, but availability for Red Bulls home matches are mandatory (which may interfere with holidays and weekends). Must be able to commit 15-20 hours per week to office hours on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays.

This is an unpaid, for credit internship (proof that you will receive credit is required).

All the responsibilities we'll trust you with:

• Sponsorship sales prospecting
• Sales proposal creation
• Client relationships & account management
• Industry research on other league and team partnerships
• Sponsorship activation execution

Currently enrolled in college; must be able to receive college credit

Motivated college student looking to pursue a career in the sports industry
