Event Security Officer

Location:

Harrison/Newark, NJ. Part Time.

This position will serve as the first face and experience that fans will encounter at Sports Illustrated Stadium. Candidates who excel must be ready to make a positive first impression, treating people with a professional level of hospitality.

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must have a reliable means of communication (e.g., pager or phone).
• Must have a reliable means of transportation;
  Driver's License with a clean record.
• Must have the legal right to work in the United States.
• Must have the ability to speak, read, and write English.
• Must have a High School Diploma or GED.

To be considered for this role, candidates must have open availability and be able to work shifts starting after 4:00 PM to the end of event.

SORA License or able to obtain.

• Check bags and screen guests to ensure overall safety.
• Control arena access by verifying tickets and credentials.
• Manage crowd control issues during events.
• Provide friendly guest services and direction.
• Perform other duties as required to ensure safety and security at the venue.
• Respond effectively during emergency or stressful situations.
• Apply strong problem‑solving and conflict resolution skills for handling customer‑related situations.
• Weekend, evening, and occasional holiday shifts required.
• Stand and walk for long periods of time.
• Work in all weather conditions.
