We are seeking a Tracking Specialist to add to our growing team. You will be responsible for managing the day-to-day needs of a core group of accounts assigned to you. The ability to problem-solve and multi-task effectively and efficiently in a fast-paced environment is a must for this position.

Full-time onsite job with a work permit (Mandatory)

Roles and responsibilities

• Establish a solid understanding of your account base’s unique business needs and requirements.
• Move shipments through our transportation management system.
• Communicate timely with carriers and relay information to the account manager.
• Communicate with company drivers and terminal staff.
• Focus on key details on the exact specifications of shipments.
• Tracking and tracing of daily shipments with spreadsheet and report creation as needed.
• Utilize carrier websites to obtain manifests and PRO numbers for data entry and shipment tracking.
• Receive and respond to questions and issues from internal staff and/or carriers regarding your customer’s shipments, a timely and with a sense of urgency.
• Work proactively and uphold FLI’s commitment to unparalleled customer service and satisfaction.

Qualifications

• A positive attitude with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, mainly Outlook and Excel, must be able to type 55-60 wpm.
• Must work effectively and efficiently in a fast-paced team environment.
• Must be detail-oriented.

Job Type: In-person Mon through Fri, Timings: 7:00 am to 3:00 pm

We are mostly looking for people from the mentioned cities (Elizabeth, Union, Maplewood, East Orange, Jersey City) or else within a 70 mile radius.
