Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Teacher to provide group lessons for elementary and middle school students in a structured after-school learning environment. All curricula, textbooks, and lesson plans are fully prepared, enabling instructors to focus on student learning rather than developing the material.
Responsibilities
- Teach one or more academic subjects: Math, Japanese, English, Science, or Social Studies
- Lead hybrid group classes (in-person + online livestream)
- Review homework, quizzes, and worksheets; provide feedback
- Native-level (or equivalent) Japanese proficiency
- Valid U.S. work authorization (Green Card / Permanent Resident)
- Enjoys teaching children; reliable and professional
- Preferred: Prior teaching/tutoring experience; knowledge of Japanese entrance exam systems
- Weekdays (Tue - Fri) 4 hours/day x 3 days/week
- around $30 - 35/Hr (DOE)
