A client of 1 Resource Group is seeking an experienced, creative, and highly motivated Fabricator/Welder to join their team in Harrison, OH. This position is responsible for welding, fabricating, and repairing components from drawings, blueprints, and sample parts.
We are looking for a dependable self-starter with a strong work ethic, commitment to quality workmanship, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced shop environment. Overtime may be required based on workload demands. This is a day shift position.
Key Responsibilities- Weld, fabricate, and repair components using drawings, blueprints, and sample parts.
- Establish and maintain positive working relationships with team members and internal/external customers.
- Follow all company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.
- Maintain organized and safe work areas while ensuring security and efficiency.
- Meet productivity, quality, and safety standards.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Minimum of three (3) years of welding and fabrication experience required.
- Must be highly proficient and able to pass AWS D1.1 and D1.5 certifications in:
- FCAW (3G & 4G)
- GMAW (1G, including spray transfer on heavy steel)
- SMAW (3G & 4G)
- Experience operating brake, shear, grinders, and fabrication equipment.
- Experience working in a shop environment utilizing SMAW, GMAW, and FCAW processes.
- Heavy fabrication and repair experience preferred.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision.
- Reliable with strong attendance and punctuality.
- Ability to multitask and adapt to changing priorities.
- Ability to successfully pass AWS D1.1 and D1.5 certifications in FCAW, GMAW, and SMAW welding processes as listed above.

- Position involves heavy physical and labor-intensive work including lifting, climbing, grinding, and working out of position.
- Frequent standing, walking, lifting/carrying, reaching, stooping, pushing/pulling, climbing ladders, repetitive motions, and hand-eye coordination required.
- Close vision required.
- Regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds.
- Employees are required to stand for more than 90% of the workday.
- Welding and fabrication shop environment.
- Work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
- Fast-paced environment with deadline-driven workloads.
- Frequent exposure to heat, temperature changes, humidity, noise, fumes, airborne particles, and moving mechanical parts.
- PPE required in designated areas, including safety glasses, hearing protection, and hard hats.
- Manufacturing areas may have loud noise levels.
- Availability for overtime and after-hours emergency calls as workload demands.
