Quick Pro Staffing is looking for an experienced Sr. CNC Programmer to join a manufacturing team! We’re seeking a self-motivated professional with strong CNC programming and machining knowledge who can work independently while collaborating with Machine Operators, Quality Control, and Engineering.
WHAT YOU'LL DO:- Program CNC Mills & Lathes for both low-volume/short-lead-time and high-volume production
- Read, interpret, edit, and troubleshoot Fanuc M & G Codes
- Reprocess and program parts for alternative machines when needed to keep production moving
- Improve machining processes, reduce setup times, and optimize cycle times
- Develop and utilize improved machining practices and methods
- Work with Engineering on machining challenges and DFM (Design for Manufacturing) improvements
- Support first-run programs with machine operators to ensure quality and efficiency
- Provide leadership, coaching, and mentoring to other team members
- 7+ years of CNC Programming & Machining experience
- Strong understanding of cutter technology for machining and turning
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical engineering drawings and GD&T
- Experience developing and modifying operation sequences from blueprints, sketches, and schematics
- Experience with Solid Edge and Mastercam 2022 or a closely related version
- Ability to program 2‑axis lathes with live tooling and vertical/horizontal machining centers up to 3+2 axis
- Strong knowledge of tool wear, cutter compensation, and modern tooling technology
- Degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Technology, or equivalent experience
- Experience with Mazatrol & MazaCAM programming and operation
This is an active manufacturing position requiring frequent standing, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing ladders. Must be able to frequently lift up to 50 lbs.
Good close, distance, color, peripheral, and depth perception are required.
Manufacturing environment with occasional elevated noise levels.
