Facility is currently looking for Full Time, Part Time and PRN Positions. Come join our team as a charge nurse leader at our state of the art, skilled nursing facility. Shawnee spring is conveniently located on the border of OH/KY/IN. This position provides direct care to the patients in the facility and direct oversight to the nurse aides. The role ensures and promotes excellent care delivery on the nursing care units, meeting the needs of residents, resident families and nursing aides during the care delivery process.
Pay: $29 to $42 per hour, based on RN licensure and experience. Additional shift differentials are available for evening and weekend shifts. Daily pay is offered for shifts completed.

- Assist in the responsibility for the total patient care within the nursing unit, and the management of the unit.
- Provide direct nursing care to patients.
- Carry out administrative and patient care duties as directed by the ADON or DON.
- Supervise and assume responsibility for the actions and care delivered by the nurse associates, including monitoring and responding to all policies and procedures regarding such duties.
- Administer medication and treatment per physician orders specific to the patient.
- Instruct and observe that care is implemented per physician/clinician or based on standard of practice.
- Assist and direct in the admission/discharge process of patients.
- Graduated from an accredited school of nursing and hold a current license in the state in which you practice.
- Maintain licensure (complete CE requirements) and CPR certification.
- Have a sincere desire to work with the elderly and enjoy working directly with residents, staff and families.
- Possess good organizational skills and follow-up when patient situations require.
