We are looking for a Senior Accountant to join our team. This role combines technical accounting precision, client interaction, and team collaboration. This position offers exposure to all areas of public accounting with little to no travel requirements. We offer flexible scheduling and provide a combination of additional time off and bonus pay for overtime required during busy season.
Responsibilities- Preparing and reviewing individual, corporate and nonprofit tax returns
- Preparing and assisting with audit and assurance engagements
- Preparing schedules, account analyses, worksheets, and projects as requested by partners and professional staff.
- Manage client interactions and assist with answering various queries
- Research tax and accounting questions to ensure regulatory compliance
- Collaborate with senior managers and partners on complex financial projects
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field required
- CPA or CPA-eligible candidate is required
- 3–5 years of public accounting or relevant corporate accounting experience preferred
- Strong analytical, organizational, and time-management skills
- Proficient with Microsoft Office (especially Excel) required; experience with accounting and tax software (e.g., Quick Books, Ultra Tax) a plus
- Competitive pay: $70,000.00 - $ annually commensurate with experience, CPA progress, public accounting/tax background, and ability to work independently
