We are looking for a dependable and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our Accounting Department. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with numbers, maintaining accurate financial records, and being part of a professional and fast-paced automotive organization.

About the Role As a Bookkeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records and supporting the day-to-day accounting operations of Steven Automotive Group. You will play an important role in ensuring financial information is properly recorded, organized, and maintained while supporting the Accounting and management teams.

Responsibilities Maintain accurate and organized financial records Record and process daily financial transactions Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and other assigned accounts Process invoices, payments, deposits, and other accounting transactions Review financial transactions for accuracy and proper documentation Assist with month-end closing and financial reporting Maintain and update accounting records and general ledger information Research and resolve discrepancies in financial records Prepare spreadsheets, reports, and other financial documentation Maintain organized records for audits and internal reporting Communicate professionally with management, employees, vendors, and other business contacts Maintain confidentiality of financial and company information Assist with other accounting and administrative duties as needed

Compensation $21.00 – $26.00 per hour based on experience and qualifications

Qualifications Previous bookkeeping or accounting experience preferred Strong attention to detail and accuracy Strong organizational and time-management skills Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities Strong communication and problem-solving skills Ability to handle confidential information professionally

Experience with accounting software preferred Automotive dealership accounting experience is a plus
