Now Hiring: FINANCIAL CONTROLLER | ON-SITE | ROCKINGHAM COUNTY
We're partnering with a growing organization that is looking for an experienced Financial Controller to lead its accounting and financial operations.
If you're a strategic finance leader who enjoys building processes, developing teams, and partnering with executive leadership, this is an outstanding opportunity to make a significant impact.
Key Responsibilities of the Controller areas follows but not limited to the below:- Lead all accounting operations including GL, AP, AR, Payroll, and Fixed Assets
- Oversee month-end and year-end close
- Prepare financial statements and ensure GAAP compliance
- Manage budgeting, forecasting, cash flow, and financial planning
- Lead audits and partner with external auditors and financial institutions
- Oversee job costing, contract accounting, and project financial reporting
- Facilitate monthly Cost-to-Complete meetings
- Develop and mentor the accounting team
- Strengthen internal controls and improve financial processes
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- CPA preferred
- 5+ years of progressive accounting leadership experience
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, budgeting, forecasting, and internal controls
- Advanced Excel and accounting software experience
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
