Office Assistant - IE
This position performs a variety of duties to support the Office of Student Accountability and Restorative Practices (OSARP). OSARP office hours during the school year (Fall/Spring) are Monday to Friday from 8:00 AM to 12:00 Noon and 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM. Our office is closed from 12:00 Noon to 1:00 PM for lunch.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Maintain 10 scheduled office hours per week.
- Provide administrative support to Front Desk Administrative Assistant, Office Coordinator.
- Provide customer service to students, parents, staff, faculty, and federal agents.
- Assist with daily and weekly tasks including reminder phone calls, letter creation and data entry.
- Provide additional support for Case Management and other units in the office as needed.
- Demonstrate a commitment to the Office of Student Accountability and Restorative Practices, its mission and its outcomes, and to the value statements of the Division of Student Affairs and the University.
- Maintain confidentiality as required by the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act regarding the non-disclosure of educational records; maintain confidentiality of other sensitive information.
- Attend staff training prior to commencement of duties; participate in ongoing training and professional development.
- Assist with additional projects and duties as assigned.

- Attention to detail, dependability, confidentiality, and punctuality are essential attributes for this position.
- * Applicants must be in good academic standing and eligible for Federal Work Study in order to be considered.
Conditions of Employment:
- Students must be degree-seeking students, enrolled on at least a half-time basis (6 credits for undergraduate and 5 credits for graduate).
