Role and Responsibilities:
As the Peak Project Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the successful completion of various construction projects. Your responsibilities will include:
- Leading and supervising construction projects to ensure timely and budget-compliant completion.
- Coordinating with contractors, in-house departments, and external organizations, including utilities and government agencies.
- Managing project budgets and performing quantity takeoffs and resource development for new, renovation, and renewable energy projects.
- Soliciting bids, awarding contracts, and maintaining subcontractor documents.
- Scheduling and overseeing general and subcontractor activities and maintaining construction schedules.
- Conducting project evaluations, feasibility studies, and reviewing bids in collaboration with senior management.
The ideal candidate will possess:
- General knowledge of all aspects of construction and building trades.
- Excellent motivation, communication, and employee/ stakeholder relations skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience with county officials, engineers, architects, and building vendors.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and knowledge of accounting systems, budgeting, and P&L accountability.
- Current Contractor or Building Trade license.
- Experience in construction management and renewable energy projects.
- Willingness to take and pass the VA Class A Contractor exam if requested.
- Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, with additional and weekend hours as needed.
