Job Summary

Client is currently searching for a Customer Service Coordinator to join our Kawneer team in Harrisonburg, VA. This is a temporary 12‑month position with the potential for hire upon successful completion. The role supports order processing, coordination with various departments, and customer relationship management.

In This Role, You Will:
  • Order Processing and Order Management.
  • Review customer orders and purchases.
  • Coordinate order status—placing an order in Estimating, Order Entry, and Takeoff statuses.
  • Send orders to manufacturing based on standard practices.
  • Work with the ordering system and release orders to manufacturing.
  • Adjust prices according to established guidelines.
  • Interact with customers and Sales Representatives.
  • Process, schedule, and adjust orders, product issues, and customer claims.
  • Utilize or develop knowledge of product and price book.
  • Coordinate with internal resources on projects.
Job Requirements
  • Competent computer skills, including data entry and proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Access, Outlook).
  • Customer service skills with prompt response time and thorough documentation.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to work in a team environment in a professional office setting.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
  • Self‑starter who can multi‑task and excel in a fast‑paced environment with deadlines.
  • Construction or architectural industry experience is a plus.
Education
  • High School diploma or equivalent (G.E.D.) required.
  • Minimum of 2 years’ work experience in a customer service role.
  • Associate’s degree from an accredited institution (preferred).
  • Commercial or residential construction industry experience (preferred).
Work Setting & Location

This position is in‑person in a professional office environment in Harrisonburg, VA. No travel required.
