Position OverviewWe are seeking a compassionate and skilled Medical Doctor (MD or DO) to join our growing clinical team in Harrisonburg, Virginia. The ideal candidate will have experience or a strong interest in pain management
, including evaluation and treatment of acute and chronic pain conditions. This position offers the opportunity to practice in a collaborative environment focused on patient-centered care, functional improvement, and long-term wellness.

Key Responsibilities- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients presenting with acute and chronic pain conditions.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
- Perform comprehensive physical examinations and medical assessments.
- Coordinate care with multidisciplinary teams, including specialists and allied health professionals.
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests and imaging as appropriate.
- Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation in accordance with regulatory standards.
- Educate patients and families regarding treatment options, pain management strategies, and preventive care.
- Adhere to clinical guidelines, safety protocols, and ethical standards.
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) from an accredited institution.
- Active or eligible medical license in the state of Virginia.
- Board certification or board eligibility in a relevant specialty preferred.
- Pain management experience or fellowship training strongly preferred
, but not required. - Experience with musculoskeletal, spine, or interventional pain treatments is a plus.
- Strong communication and patient engagement skills.
- Background in Pain Medicine, Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation, Anesthesiology, Neurology, or related specialty.
- Experience treating chronic pain, spine-related conditions, or musculoskeletal disorders.
- Familiarity with multidisciplinary or interventional pain approaches.
