General Information

James Madison University (JMU) School of Nursing invites applications for a 12-month, full-time appointment beginning May 1, 2026. This is an AP Faculty position at the rank of Instructor. The School of Nursing offers CCNE-accredited Baccalaureate, Master's, and Doctor of Nursing Practice programs. The Clinical Coordinator will manage clinical contracts, ensuring compliance and timely renewal of affiliation agreements and coordinate clinical learning experiences.

Duties

and Responsibilities
  • Supports the efficient operation of nursing programs and serves as the primary liaison with clinical partners.
  • Provides administrative support to the School of Nursing, including assisting with clinical coordination, class registration, and other duties as assigned.
  • Collaborates with program coordinators and faculty to plan, implement, and evaluate clinical site orientations and student rotations, ensuring educational affiliation agreements are up to date and that all clinical agency policies and protocols are followed by the School of Nursing.
