General InformationThe Department of Health Professions in the College of Health and Behavioral Studies (CHBS) at James Madison University invites applications for a tenure-track position in Dietetics at the rank of Assistant/Associate Professor to begin July 2026. The Dietetics program is comprised of an undergraduate Didactic Program in Dietetics and the Applied Nutrition graduate program, both accredited by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND).
The leadership structure within the Dietetics program comprises a Program Director, an Undergraduate Program Coordinator, and a Coordinator for the Applied Nutrition graduate program— a role that will be among the responsibilities assigned to the successful candidate. The faculty member will work collaboratively with faculty from the other programs in the Department of Health Professions (Athletic Training, Health Services Administration, Occupational Therapy, and Physician Assistant Studies), as well as with other departments within CHBS.
