General InformationAs part of the Verification Team within the Office of Financial Aid and Scholarships, this position reviews applicant information on FAFSA/ISIRs. This role ensures that the Department of Education has accurate eligibility information and therefore ensures that students are provided access to appropriate federal and state aid.
Duties and Responsibilities- Examines aid applications, federal tax returns and other documentation in support of financial aid application.
- Ensures documentation is acceptable per Department of Education regulations and communicates with parents and students if additional information is needed.
- Must possess excellent written, interpersonal, and oral communication skills.
- Basic computer skills.
- Works well as a member of a team.
Employment is contingent upon the successful completion of a criminal background check.
This is a part-time wage position working up to an average of 29 hours per week over the course of a calendar year with no benefits.
