Summary

LLE Education is looking for enthusiastic and childcare professionals who want to make a positive impact in the lives of our students. Our schools are growing and thriving, and we are excited to welcome new educators to our family. As a Director in Training, you will gain insight and resources through hands‑on training and participate in on‑site projects and tasks to prepare you to successfully lead your own school.

Responsibilities
  • You will be trusted with a wide range of tasks essential to the smooth running of the school and to the educational development of the children.
  • Assist the Director with the operation of the school, ensuring that the school operates in accordance with company and state licensing standards.
  • Be responsible for ensuring an educational, caring, and safe environment for the children and parents.
  • Spark imagination, build self‑esteem, and help children discover new things each day.
  • Teach, educate, and monitor children as needed.
  • Assist Director in staff development and training.
  • Attend meetings as necessary to aid in business and organizational development as directed by the District Director or his/her supervisors.
  • Travel to multiple childcare centers in the Richmond area to both assist and learn.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • Early childhood professional credential such as a CDA, CCP or AAS in early childhood education;
    Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
  • Knowledge of applicable laws, rules, and regulations relevant to the operations of a childcare facility.
  • Knowledge of the principles and practices of supervision and training, instruction methods, programs, philosophies, and theories relevant to the operation of a childcare facility.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and listening skills and the ability to communicate to a wide‑ranging audience including those with varied educational levels and backgrounds.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and willingness to work as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in financial reporting and management of budgets.
  • At least one year of experience in a supervisory role.
  • At least two years of experience as a classroom teacher or childcare provider.
