James Madison University seeks a GEAR UP Math Tutor to assist middle school students in Math and mentor them through the college admissions process. The position is part-time and starts in Fall 2026.
The ideal candidate will have strong Math knowledge and a commitment to supporting first-generation and underrepresented students. The tutor will work with a two-year cohort in Staunton City Schools, focusing on improving student completion rates.
