Job Summary:

The Digital Royal Ambassador will assist the Undergraduate Admissions team in the recruitment of prospective students. This position will generate creative and engaging content for the EMU UG Admissions Instagram page.

Duties/Responsibilities:

Post on Instagram (posts, stories, reels, etc.) on assigned day Create engaging content

Connect online with prospective students and answer questions about the university, areas of study, and opportunities for students

Attend monthly RA meetings

Be an active member in the Group Me to collaborate with other DMAsCollaborate with the Undergraduate Admissions team in generating and posting creative content.

Attend all UG events

Perform additional work-related duties as assigned. The omission of specific duties does not preclude the supervisor from assigning duties that are logically related to the position.

Required Skills/Abilities:

Demonstrated ability to work and communicate effectively and professionally with all constituencies of a diverse community.

Demonstrated ability to take initiative.

Ability to effectively express ideas clearly in both written and verbal communications.

Proficiency in computer applications

Excellent problem-solving and conflict resolution skills, and the ability to deal effectively with a variety of situations and constituents.

Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Ability to respectfully manage sensitive conversations and  currently enrolled as a student cation and

Experience:

High School diploma.

Physical Requirements:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to sit and use hands and fingers, to handle, or feel. The employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, and climb or balance. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision.
