General Information:James Madison University Libraries seeks a qualified Student Coordinator to join the Library & Information Services (LIS) team within the Access & User Services (AUS) department. The position will share responsibility for co-supervising student workers with the Student Coordinator and Trainer. This position will have a primary focus on student employee scheduling.
The successful candidate will report to the Director of Access & User services and join a collaborative team dedicated to offering high-quality services to JMU and the local community. In addition to the primary duties, the position will staff service points in both Rose Library and Carrier Library, working closely with other full-time and part-time members of LIS, A&D, and Music.
The position will also provide back-up for core responsibilities, such as opening the Libraries.
As a member of the highly collaborative AUS team, the coordinator will contribute to a welcoming, responsive, and student-centered service environment while supporting the day-to-day operations of the service points.
This is a full-time, 40 hours per week position with benefits.

Co-coordinate student employment for Carrier and Rose Library Service point operations, including recruitment, hiring, onboarding, training, supervision, and offboarding, for approximately 50-60 student employees.
Lead development and maintenance of student employee scheduling, including developing and maintaining policies and procedures documentation.
