Summary
The Flock Services Technician is responsible for keeping flocks up-to-date on sample testing and other testing for the National Poultry Improvement Plan (NPIP) requirements and state guidelines.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Develop a schedule for flock testing, ensuring the schedule is followed and in compliance with NPIP and state guidelines.
- Perform sampling on flocks, ensuring to adhere to requirements and guidelines.
- Transfer samples to the appropriate containers.
- Deliver prepared samples to the lab.
- Note:
This position will not have supervisory responsibility.
Required:
High school diploma and a state‑issued Driver’s License with a clean driving record.
