Overview
Sentara RMH Medical Center is now hiring a Licensed Behavioral Health Therapist
. This position will be responsible for the provision of social work/counseling services to patients receiving care in the inpatient behavioral health setting.
Sign on bonus up to $15,000 with no contract or commitment required!!

- Working closely with providers/physicians
Day shift - 7 days on/off. Great for individuals who enjoy flexibility of working every other week!
EducationMaster’s Degree – Social Work, Counseling, or other related field
Certification/LicensureLicensed Professional Counselor (LPC) or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)
Experience- At least 1 year of outpatient or inpatient experience is desired
- Hospital experience is a plus
- Crisis experience preferred
- Assesses the social, psychological, cultural, environmental, and financial situation, as well as disposition needs, for each assigned patient.
- Collaborates with patients, families, healthcare team members, and community agencies to develop and implement plans to address identified needs.
- Evaluates effectiveness of developed plans and initiates change as needed.
- Run therapeutic group sessions
