We are seeking DSPs to support adults with disabilities in living full, independent, and joyful lives. Our adult group homes offer small caseloads, cozy environments, and the opportunity to develop meaningful relationships with long-term residents. We are hiring full and part-time DSPs to join our teams at group homes in the Harrisonburg/Rockingham County area.
You’ll help with:- Daily living skills
- Community outings
- Medication administration (we train you!)
- Progress notes and documentation
- Encouraging independence and personal growth
- HS diploma/GED
- CPR/First Aid (or willingness to learn)
- Reliable transportation
- Basic computer skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Compassion, respect, and responsibility
- A strong attendance record
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
- The ability to work weekends
Hiring range: $16.00 to $19.00 per hour, depending on experience
