The Parts Room Attendant supports Farmer Focus operations by organizing, tracking, issuing, ordering, and maintaining parts, tools, equipment, and supplies within the parts/supply room. This role helps ensure maintenance, operations, and authorized personnel have the parts and tools needed to support safe, efficient, and reliable plant operations. The Parts Room Attendant is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records, supporting parts ordering and reordering, receiving delivered parts, issuing parts and tools through the appropriate system, and keeping the parts/supply room clean, organized, and accountable.
This position requires strong attention to detail, communication skills, organization, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Maintain the reliability and accuracy of parts/supply room inventories for maintenance and operations.
- Receive delivered parts, replenish parts as needed, and organize inventory in the parts/supply room.
- Keep the parts/supply room clean, orderly, and properly maintained.
- Order and reorder parts as needed to support maintenance and operational needs.
- Supply parts to maintenance, operations, and authorized personnel.
- Create work orders for parts as required.
- Conduct daily inventory of tools and equipment.
- Keep accurate daily records of parts inventory and incoming orders.
- Receive and issue parts in the appropriate system on a daily basis.
- Issue tools and equipment to authorized personnel and maintain records of tool and equipment accountability.
- Utilize and maintain the Canopy system or other related inventory databases.
- Communicate effectively with external suppliers and internal customers at all levels.
- Support cooperative working relationships by demonstrating a willingness to perform other job-related work as needed or required.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel.
- Effective oral and written communication skills.

- Ability to perform multiple tasks simultaneously.

- Ability to perform the essential functions of the role with or without reasonable accommodation.
- 1 year of parts, inventory, supply room, warehouse, maintenance support, or related experience.
- Experience ordering, receiving, issuing, or tracking parts and supplies.
- Experience working in a manufacturing, production, food processing, poultry processing, or maintenance environment.
- Experience using inventory systems or databases.
