Job Summary
:
The Recovery Court Coordinator will provide comprehensive oversight of the Rockingham-Harrisonburg Recovery Court Program. The primary responsibility of this position is the planning, organizing, developing, directing and monitoring services for participants of the Rockingham County Recovery Court docket. This shall include coordinating the weekly Recovery court sessions, coordinating the bi-monthly meetings of the Recovery Court Advisory Committee.
Essential Job Functions
An employee in this position may be called upon to do any or all of the following essential duties:
- Oversees and generates referrals to the Recovery Court docket, tracks and reports program data and outcomes, prepares and presents reports to stakeholders, oversees treatment planning, and provides direct client care in line with evidence-based practices including risks/need/response model
- Coordinates closely with Recovery court judge, attorneys, jail staff, law enforcement and internal and external community service providers, as well as probation and parole officers to ensure support services are delivered and treatment issues are addressed
- Responsible for all program operations, including development, program content, eligibility, evaluation treatment, and on-going supervision. Coordinate all Recovery Court assigned staff as they relate to the Recovery Treatment Court
- Meet with Recovery Court Participants for intake, case management and drug testing
- Serve as liaison with Recovery Court Coordinator at the Supreme Court
- Serve as liaison between referring courts and the Recovery Treatment Court
- Manage and monitor grant requirements including quarterly budget and narrative reports to all funding sources
- Review and recommend changes to Recovery Court administrative process
- Provide general oversight of the Recovery Court’s operations and effectiveness
- Update the Recovery Court Operations Manual, handbooks, and information for Recovery Court participants on a regular basis upon approval by the board
- Disseminate information regarding the Recovery court to the local criminal justice system and general public
- Serve as liaison with the supervisors of the participating agencies, Recovery Court staff, and the Court
- Produce database reports and data output as necessary for the Recovery Court board, staff, or judge
- Assist the case management team with preparation for weekly Recovery Court sessions when necessary
- Organizing meetings between team members, including weekly case management meetings, weekly staffing’s, weekly status hearings, annual planning meetings, and monthly administrative team meetings
- Preparing agendas and facilitating case management meetings, administrative team meetings and planning meetings
- Disseminating critical information related to program violations and relevant drug testing results to all team members in a timely manner (prior to case management meetings)
- Maintain the confidentiality of all records as required by state
- Maintain all statistics and data as required
- Perform related tasks as required
