We are seeking an experienced, compassionate, and results-driven Director of Residential Services to provide strategic leadership and operational oversight for our residential programs. The Director of Residential Services is responsible for ensuring high-quality care, regulatory compliance, staff development, and the overall success of all group home operations. This leadership role oversees residential managers, supervisors, and direct support staff while promoting a culture of excellence, accountability, and person-centered services.
Key Responsibilities- Provide overall leadership and direction for all residential programs and group home operations.
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, local, and licensing regulations.
- Develop, implement, and monitor policies, procedures, and quality assurance initiatives.
- Supervise, mentor, and support residential managers and leadership staff.
- Oversee staffing plans, recruitment, retention, training, and performance management.
- Monitor program budgets, expenditures, and resource allocation.
- Ensure individuals served receive high-quality, person-centered care and support.
- Investigate incidents, address concerns, and implement corrective action plans as needed.
- Collaborate with families, guardians, funding agencies, and community partners.
- Analyze program outcomes and implement continuous quality improvement strategies.
- Participate in strategic planning and organizational leadership initiatives.
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and professional work environment.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Services, Social Work, Psychology, Healthcare Administration, or a related field required;
Master's degree preferred. - Minimum of five years of progressive leadership experience in residential services, behavioral health, developmental disabilities, or related human services programs.
- Demonstrated experience supervising multiple residential programs or group homes.
- Strong knowledge of licensing requirements, regulatory standards, and best practices in residential care.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Proven ability to manage budgets, staff performance, and program operations.
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel between program locations as needed.
