About the role

The Production Supervisor is responsible and accountable for the smooth running of the assigned shift, technology, and line manufacturing operations.

This is a FLOATING/RELIEF SUPERVISOR position - The candidate must be open to working all shifts to cover PTO as needed.

Key responsibilities

Oversee Daily Manufacturing Operations

• Ensure production targets are met and the manufacturing floor runs smoothly.

Lead Schedule & Resource Planning

• Confirm schedules, review sequencing, ensure raw materials/packaging availability, and manage people availability in resource planning.

Own Line Start‑Up Processes

• Oversee H&S checks, material checks, environmental checks, line setup audits, and all pre‑production documentation.

Manage BOM Production & Quality Checks

• Oversee raw material/packaging collection and scanning, compliance checks, sequencing confirmations, and in‑flight quality parameters (Golden 6, CCP, traceability).

Drive Line/Area Performance Management

• Lead QSHE reviews, production efficiency reviews, and support daily huddles.

Manage Production Completion Activities

• Review production run quality/quantity, support SAP order completion, oversee put‑away processes, and manage yield/waste/CIP reviews.

Lead People Management & Training

• Own training and development plans; support performance, disciplinary, and absence management processes.

Execute Audits & Investigations

• Lead internal/external audits, manage audit debriefs, support non‑conformance closeouts, and conduct investigations (H&S, complaints, bottlenecks, Intelex).

Qualifications and skills

• Bachelor’s degree required.

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in similar roles.

• Experience in manufacturing required; experience in food manufacturing highly preferred.

• Authentic leadership with credibility among senior stakeholders and plant leadership.

• Demonstrated ability to influence and coach leaders within the organization.

• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to lead teams to success.

• Excellent communication skills across all functions and levels of the business.

• Proven ability to build and develop high-performing teams.

Project management experience with practical knowledge of tools and techniques.

• Strong financial and business acumen, with the ability to translate operational improvements into financial impact.

Compensation Data

The pay range for this position is 64, in Annual Salary. Kerry typically does not hire an individual at the top or near the top of the range, as we are a pay-for-performance company, and this range is set to continue to reward performance annually while in role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. The specific compensation offered to a candidate within the above range may be influenced by a variety of factors including skills, qualifications, experience, and internal equity.

In addition, this position is also eligible to earn a performance-based incentive compensation.
