This role works in a production area processing poultry products and supports the movement, handling, and processing of product across assigned departments. The position may require working with live poultry, raw products, and/or cooked products in a fast-paced poultry production environment.
Typical assignments may include live hang, evisceration, debone, cut up, marinating, stack off, Polybag, Retail, Warehouse, and other production support areas. This role is impactful because it helps maintain safe, efficient product flow and provides support where needed to meet daily production needs.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Lift up to 50–60 pounds repeatedly.
- Work throughout various departments to assist where needed.
- Adhere to all safety requirements, including use of required personal protective equipment.
- Prevent and report unsafe acts and conditions.
- Follow Lockout-Tagout procedures and Process Safety Management related requirements.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications- Ability to learn and perform all general labor duties.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Related experience preferred but not required.
- Able to pass SVO pre-employment/post-offer checks.
- Must have eligibility to work in the United States.
- Ability to work all assigned shifts, including overtime and some weekends.
- Ability to perform the essential functions of the role with or without reasonable accommodation.
New team members must be able to pass a drug and alcohol screening post-offer and prior to the start of their employment. The Immigration Reform and Control Act requires that verification of employment eligibility be documented for all new employees by the end of their third day of work.
Environmental Factors andPhysical Requirements
Work is conducted primarily in a poultry production environment and may include exposure to live poultry, raw products, cooked products, wet and moist floors, metal and plastic grating surfaces, dust, chemicals, and production noise. Team members may be exposed to temperatures ranging from 28 degrees to 100 degrees Fahrenheit, including ambient and 100% humidity conditions, and may handle product ranging from 25 degrees to 50 degrees Fahrenheit.
Noise exposure may range from 50 dB to 110 dB.
This role requires a variety of physical labor, including climbing ladders, bending, kneeling, reaching, standing for long periods of time, walking, lifting and carrying boxes, tools, equipment, and materials. Team members must be able to lift up to 50–60 pounds repeatedly and work safely in assigned production areas while using required PPE.
