Boxmaker Material Handler 2 (Finance)
We are looking for Boxmaker Material Handler 2 to join our team at Lakeside Book Company. As the largest bookmaker in the United States, you will help move the finished product out the door and into the hands of readers across the country. No experience necessary! We will provide you with all the training you need to be successful. Advancement opportunities are available!
Starting Rate: $17.60
Hours: 12-hour Daylight shift 6am-6pm, Monday-Tuesday, Friday-Saturday-Sunday, Wednesday-Thursday
Location: 2347 Kratzer Rd;
Harrisonburg, VA 22802 and 1025 Willow Springs Rd;

- Assist in running the boxmaker to targeted speeds while maintaining quality.
- Assist in completing the Make-ready using appropriate materials.
- Assist in maintaining the LDC board.
- Pile down, strap and complete jobs in the MLU.
- Help with housekeeping.
- Ability to read/write English and do basic math; intermediate computer skills needed.
- Good judgment, decision making, and problem solving skills.
- Ability to stand for the entire duration of your shift and lift up to 50 pounds
