Role Overview / Purpose and Scope

The Live Hangeris responsible forhanging chickens on shackles on the production line while working as part of a team to support consistent product flow and production efficiency. This role helps ensure shackles remain full while following safety, sanitation, quality, and GMP standards.

The Live Hanger playsan important rolein supporting Farmer Focus production operations by performing essential production line duties, communicating effectively with coworkers and supervisors, and contributing to a clean, safe, and efficient work environment.

• Hangchickenson shackles on the production line.

• Keep shackles full of birds at all times to support consistent product flow.

• Work as part of a team to complete essential production line duties.

• Communicate effectively with coworkers, leads, and supervisors.

• Follow all safety and sanitation standards, procedures, and regulations.

• Properly useall required safety equipment and personal protective equipment.

• Contribute to a clean and safe work environment.

• Support quality, safety, and GMP standards as needed.

• Remain flexible to changing duties, rotations, and product requirements.

• Perform other related responsibilities as needed to support Farmer Focus business objectives.

Compensation

Compensation Range: $22.75/hr

Additional Compensation: $1.50/hr Shift differential

The posted compensation range for this role should reflect the minimum and maximum amount Farmer Focus in good faith expects to pay at the time of posting, based on factors such as internal equity, relevant experience, market data, and the budgeted amount available for the position.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience in poultry processing, food processing, manufacturing, production, or general labor.

• Experience working on a fast-paced production line.

• Familiarity with GMP standards, production safety requirements, and sanitation procedures.

New team members must be able to pass a drug,alcoholand background screening post-offer and prior to the start of their employment. The Immigration Reform and Control Act requires that verification of employment eligibility be documented for all new employees by the end of their third day of work.

Work is conducted primarily in a manufacturing and poultry production environment. This role requires access to the poultry production environment and involves working with live poultry and production line equipment. The team member must be able to tolerate varying heat, wet, and chill conditions within the plant. Hearing and eye protective equipment arerequiredin the production area. Hair and beard nets arerequiredin the production area.
