Role Overview / Purpose and Scope The Scale Operator is responsible for accurately weighing products to customer specifications while maintaining superior quality standards in the assigned production area. This role requires attention to detail, accurate documentation, and clear communication with department leads, supervisors, and upper management to support efficient operations and product quality.

Key Responsibilities Accurately weigh products according to customer specifications and assigned production requirements.

Enter data using a keyboard and operate production and office equipment, including scale systems, computer, email, copier, fax machine, and 10-key calculator.

Complete required paperwork accurately, neatly, and in a timely manner.

Read and understand English in order to identify items and information on required paperwork.

Communicate clearly and professionally with supervisors, associates, department leads, and upper management verbally and in writing.

Analyze and calculate data using basic math skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.

Complete assigned tasks accurately and efficiently while using time and resources effectively.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications High school diploma preferred.

General mathematical ability required to perform job duties accurately.

Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English to complete paperwork and identify items accurately.

Ability to use basic office and production equipment, including computer, email, copier, fax machine, 10-key calculator, keyboard, and scale.

Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with supervisors, associates, department leads, and upper management.

Must be able to work assigned days and shifts, including overtime and some weekends as required.
