Week 1 - Wed | Fri | Sat

Week 2 - Sun | Wed| Fri

Pay Ranges:

$16.50 - $21.70

Additional Pay

Incentives:

• 2/hour evening and night shift differential (2pm-10pm and 10pm-6am on all days)
• Additional 2/hour weekend shift differential (6 am Saturday to 6 am Monday)

Position Summary:

The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) provides direct, hands-on care to residents in a senior living care setting under the supervision of a licensed nurse. This role supports residents with activities of daily living, promotes comfort and dignity, observes and reports changes in condition, and contributes to a safe, compassionate, and person-centered care environment. The CNA plays a vital role in enhancing residents’ quality of life through respectful care, teamwork, and consistent communication.

• High school graduate or equivalent preferred but not required.
• You must meet one of the following: 1) current Virginia Certified Nurse Aide license; 2) Virginia Board of Nursing approved Geriatric Nurse Aide training course completion certificate; 3) documentation of at least 40 hours of clinical nursing experience with direct client care within the past 12 months while enrolled in a nursing education program preparing for RN or PN licensure. If #2 or #3 applies, you must become eligible to register for and take the state certification exam to become licensed as a CNA in Virginia within 120 days of employment.
• Current CPR certification or willingness to obtain within 60 days of employment.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Physical ability to lift or move objects or patients up to 50 pounds, and push/pull up to 100 pounds.
• Dependable with ability to perform responsibilities with limited supervision and work collaboratively in a team.
• Pleasant personality with effective communication and professional interaction skills.
