Registered Nurse - Endoscopy PrePost​/PASS

Work Shift:

First (Days). Sentara RMH Medical Center is seeking a full‑time Pre Post/PASS Registered Nurse for the endoscopy unit. The RN will prepare endoscopy and pain‑management patients for procedures, coordinate discharge or transfer post‑procedure, and complete pre‑anesthesia screening.

• Prepare patients for endoscopy and pain‑management procedures.
• Coordinate patient discharge or transfer post‑procedure.
• Complete pre‑anesthesia screening and documentation.
• Provide nursing care using the nursing process: assessment, diagnosis, outcomes identification, planning, implementation, coordination of care, teaching, health promotion, and evaluation.
• Apply professional standards in ethics, culturally congruent practice, communication, collaboration, leadership, education, evidence‑based practice, quality improvement, resource utilization, and environmental health.
• Maintain clinical knowledge and skills required for the endoscopy unit.

• Education:
  
  Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing.
• License:
  Current Registered Nurse licensure.
• Experience:
  
  Prior acute‑care nursing experience preferred.
