PCA OR RMA; Registered Medication Aide Part-Time Night Shift

Registered Medication Aide: $17:99 - $23.66

plus a $2.00 shift premium per hour.

This position is primarily responsible for assisting residents who are physically, functionally, and/or socially impaired and require 24‑hour supervision. Encourages resident independence and freedom of choice while assisting with activities of daily living that residents may not be able to perform independently.

No advanced nursing degree required.

• High school graduate or GED equivalent preferred.
• Must have one of the following:
  Certified Nursing Assistant License in the Commonwealth of Virginia, Direct Care Staff Certificate, or completed an approved Geriatric Nursing Assistant Training program.
• Current Medication Administration License in the Commonwealth of Virginia (or ability to obtain within 90 days).
• CPR and First‑Aid certified or obtain certifications at VMRC within 60 days of employment.

• Ability to work some flexible hours and participate in holiday activities.
• Ability to speak, understand, and carry out oral and written assignments in English.
• Self‑motivated to perform duties independently with limited supervision.
• Willing to be flexible and accommodate changing priorities.
• Ability to work closely with staff, residents, and families in a calm, pleasant, respectful, professional manner; be diplomatic in resident and co‑worker relations.
• Act and intervene independently in routine and emergency situations.
