Job Title: Registered Nurse - Long-Term Care
Location: Harrisonburg, VA
Type: Contract (12 Weeks)
Shift & Schedule: Evenings | 2:00 PM - 10:30 PM | 40 Hours Per Week
Pay: $40/hr - $55/hr (Based on Experience)

Position Overview:

Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking a Registered Nurse - Long-Term Care for an exciting Contract job in Harrisonburg, VA.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to long-term care residents.
• Conduct patient assessments and monitor ongoing health status.
• Administer medications and prescribed treatments.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the EMR system.
• Collaborate with physicians, LPNs, and CNA staff.
• Support resident safety, comfort, and care planning.
• Respond to changes in patient condition and escalate appropriately.
• Ensure compliance with facility policies and regulatory standards.

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) License.
• Strong clinical judgment and patient care skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to work evening shifts consistently.
• Comfortable working in a structured, resident-focused environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Long-Term Care (LTC) experience.
• Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) experience.
• Experience with geriatric patient populations.
• Experience with electronic medical record documentation.
• Strong assessment and care coordination skills.
