Evening Shift LPN or RN Position
Work Schedule:
2:00 PM – 10:00 PM, Monday–Thursday, with on‑call rotation for weekends and holidays.
Registered Nurse (RN): $29.22 – $39.45 per hour
Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN): $24.33 – $32.00 per hour
- $7 / hour evening shift differential or up to $10 000 sign‑on bonus (paid quarterly over a period of time), available only for the 2 PM–10 PM shift.
- $2 / hour night shift differential (10 PM–6 AM all days).
- $2 / hour weekend shift differential (6 AM Saturday–6 AM Monday).
This position is primarily responsible for coordinating residents’ care in accordance with the Virginia Department of Social Services Standards and recognized nursing standards and practices. As a member of the Nursing Leadership team, the applicant will implement and audit quality improvement measures, mentor and coach nurses and CNAs across Woodland Park and Transitional Care, and conduct performance reviews for supervised staff.

Requirements- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing with a current license to practice in Virginia; prior supervisory, coaching, and support experience with personal‑care staff.
- Previous experience in long‑term care or skilled nursing facility required.
- Excellent communication skills—oral, written, and presentation—while maintaining professional relationships with nursing leadership, physicians, staff, families, and community partners.
- Passion for and knowledge of geriatric care, transitional, and long‑term care.
- Ability to supervise, coordinate, and lead activities of others.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) for operations, reporting, and presentations.
- Command of the English language; self‑motivated, organized, and flexible to accommodate changing priorities.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with minimal supervision.
