The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) provides direct, hands‑on care to residents in a senior living setting under supervision of a licensed nurse. The role supports residents with activities of daily living, promotes comfort and dignity, observes and reports changes in condition, and contributes to a safe, compassionate, and person‑centered care environment.

• Every Other Weekend (Saturday/Sunday)
• Saturday: 6 AM–2 PM or 2 PM–10 PM
• Sunday: 6 AM–2 PM or 2 PM–10 PM

$16.50 – $21.70 per hour

• $2 per hour evening & night shift differential (2 PM–10 PM & 10 PM–6 AM all days)
• $2 per hour weekend shift differential (offered from 6 AM Saturday to 6 AM Monday)

• High school graduate or equivalent (preferred, not required)
• Valid Virginia Certified Nurse Aide license, or completion of a Virginia Board of Nursing approved Geriatric Nurse Aide training course, or completion of at least one clinical nursing course with 40+ hours of direct patient care in the past 12 months. Eligible candidates must register for the state certification exam within 120 days of employment if required.
• Current CPR certification or willing to obtain within 60 days of employment
• Basic proficiency in reading, writing, speaking, and understanding English
• Ability to lift or move patients up to 50 pounds and push/pull up to 100 pounds
• Dependable, able to work with limited supervision, and work collaboratively as part of a team
• Professional, courteous communication and interpersonal skills
