Registered Nurse - Behavioral Health

Sentara RMH Medical Center is now hiring a Registered Nurse for the Behavioral Health unit
. This position is ideal for candidates who have experience or interest in providing care for patients with a variety of diagnoses to include depression, suicidal ideation, schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, and more. Will also work with drug and alcohol detox patients.

Associates or Bachelor's Degree – Nursing (Required)

Registered Nurse License (Required)

Previous acute care experience (Preferred)

This 10-week TTP program focuses on the orientation transition experience with intentional knowledge support and skill acquisition for practice in Medical-Surgical areas. For new graduates, this TTP program is the start of a comprehensive 6-month residency program to support your transition to practice.

For many of our Registered Nurse roles, we welcomenew graduate applicants. We're excited to share our starting pay rate fornew graduate registered nurses with less than 1 year of experience is $36.00/hour.

We provide market-competitive compensation packages, inclusive of base pay, incentives, and benefits. The base pay range for full-time employment is $41.93 - $61.01 hourly. Additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, on-call pay, overtime, shift premiums, extra-shift incentives, or bonus opportunities. Compensation within the range may vary based on qualifications, experience, location, market conditions, and business needs.
