Golf Shop Floater

Massanutten Resort Job

The Golf Shop Floater provides excellent customer service to owners and guests of Massanutten Resort through performing various jobs to include golf shop attendant, host, course marshal, and cart attendant. The Floater's main emphasis will be as a golf shop attendant but may be asked to perform other roles as needed for daily staffing. Customer service experience, retail experience, and computer knowledge is preferred.

High school diploma or the equivalency is necessary unless currently attending school. A valid driver's license is required to operate golf carts. The Floater position requires that an employee stand for long periods of time inside/outside with physical requirements such as stooping, bending, and lifting an average weight of 30 pounds.

Required:

• High School diploma or equivalent (unless currently attending school)
• Valid driver's license
• Dependable with strong work ethic
• Excellent customer service skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Good problem-solving skills
• Ability to work with others
• Must be 16 years or older

Preferred:

• Retail experience
• Computer knowledge
• Golf course experience a plus
