Position: INSIDE PARTS SALES
Highway Motors - Harrisonburg is a heavy-duty truck dealership seeking a dedicated professional to join our team as an Inside Parts Sales representative. If you have a passion for automotive parts and exceptional customer service skills, we want to hear from you!
Responsibilities:

• Assist customers in identifying and purchasing the right parts for their needs.
• Provide excellent customer service in person, over the phone, and via email.
• Maintain accurate records of parts transactions and inventory levels.
• Collaborate with the service department to ensure timely delivery of parts.

Requirements:

• Prior experience in the automotive industry preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to multitask.
• Proficiency in computer systems and software.

Role responsibilities

• Provide customer service and process orders for customers at parts counter, Ecommerce and over the phone.
• Assist outside sales staff with quotes and orders.
• Assist in maintaining accuracy of inventory.
• Process core and new part returns.
• Maintain up to date company provided training on new processes and new products.
• Accurately fill customer orders as needed by retrieving requested material.
• Take part in maintaining appearance of location as needed, straightening, cleaning of display and counter area etc..

Qualifications

• 2 years of sales experience in the medium/ heavy duty or automotive industry preferred but not required.
• Basic computer skills with experience with Microsoft Office.
• Ability to work independently with limited supervision.
• Strong communication skills both in person and over the phone.
• Be a strong team player.
