Job Overview
As an Inside Sales Representative, you will be responsible for responding to customer inquiries, closing profitable sales orders, and processing orders received. This includes reviewing orders to ensure customer needs are met, following through on commitments of delivery of product or information required, and communication of information to customers and employees who are fulfilling the order.
Responsibilities- Sell products and services, offer add‑on and up‑sell products that may benefit the customer, and suggest alternative products when a customer‑requested product is not available.
- Execute sales effort in an ethical and professional manner that reflects favorably on the reputation of both the salesperson and the company.
- Work with branch personnel to provide competitive quotations.
- Respond to customer inquiries, close sales, and process orders received.
- Ensure proper communication of information to customers and fulfillment employees.
The role often requires standing, walking, bending, reaching, climbing, and stooping. Occasional sitting and talking/hearing are also necessary. Hands/fingers are frequently used. Continuous lifting and carrying up to 20 lbs., frequent lifting and carrying 21-50 lbs., and occasional lifting and carrying 51-100 lbs. are required. A buddy‑lift or mechanical device is advised for heavier loads.
Qualifications- High school diploma or GED.
- Sales experience preferred and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Employees are eligible for health, dental, vision, and life insurance benefits on the first of the month following 30 days of employment. Employees who are 21 years of age or older will be automatically enrolled in the company’s 401(k) plan once they achieve 90 days of employment.
