Are you an experienced Industrial Refrigeration (IR) Technician looking for variety, travel opportunities, and career growth? We are a full-service MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) contractor with over 50 years of industry experience. Key Responsibilities- Diagnose and repair ammonia and industrial refrigeration systems
- Perform mechanical rebuilds on commercial/industrial compressors
- Maintain evaporative condensers, control systems, and electrical components
- Execute preventative maintenance and inspection tasks per service agreements
- Coordinate with dispatch/service coordinator for job scheduling and task execution
- Maintain compliance with OSHA, IIAR, and RETA safety standards
- Travel up to 50% of the time to customer sites
- Respond to emergency service calls, including weekends and evenings as needed
- 5+ years of experience in industrial refrigeration service
- Strong understanding of ammonia, cascade, and rack systems
- Hands-on experience with control systems and conventional electrical controls
- EPA CFC certification required
- RETA Course I and II certifications preferred
- Knowledge of OSHA, IIAR, and industry safety standards
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and OT as needed
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
