Delivery Driver Part Time

Position Overview

As a Delivery Driver for Omnicare Pharmacy, you will deliver prescription orders and/or products to customers on a predetermined route and schedule in a company provided vehicle.

• Provide timely and accurate delivery of medication, equipment, products and/or supplies to long-term care facilities or patients’ homes.
• Load products/materials onto the vehicle.
• Maintain the vehicle and alert management for maintenance issues.
• Ensure compliance with all Federal, State and Local laws and regulations.
• Maintain highest professional and ethical standards and follow all applicable government regulations including HIPAA to ensure patient confidentiality.
• Cover backup routes for call outs and vacation time off. Day routes run approximately 2 p-9 p and weekend routes run approximately 5 p-12 a.

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Current, valid driver’s license in the state at the level required for the vehicle’s operation.
• Geographical knowledge of the service area.
• Flexibility to work nights and weekends.
• Ability to drive for long periods of time.
• Prior experience in the long-term care industry (preferred).
• Previous driving experience as a limo driver, taxi/bus driver, courier, or gig-economy worker (preferred).

• Competitive pay: $16.00 – $23.56 per hour (base hourly rate).
