Training
Schedule:
- Four days of classroom instruction
- Three days of hands-on load securement training
- Five days of equipment familiarization, driving and backing instruction, and training in how to complete a thorough DOT pre-trip inspection
- Four weeks of OTR training with one of our experienced driver trainers, who will help you master the hands-on skills you need to succeed as a flatbed driver for TMC
- Start your career as a TMC flatbed driver!
- TMC pairs you with a trainer who lives within 150 miles of home, helping you get home most weekends during training
- First-year drivers earn up to $100,000 annually
- Home most weekends
- Paid training - $650 a week during orientation and your final week on the road
- Medical, dental, vision, and prescription coverage; 401(k) with company match
- A stake in TMC through our Employee Stock Ownership Plan
- Paid vacation & holidays
- Valid CDL-A
- Little or no driving experience
- No recent DOT-reportable accidents or DUIs
- Last five years of work history for your application
